All businesses must follow new policies and procedures to ensure a safe reopening. We have implemented changes to our service menu, processes and protocols in accordance with the Government of Ontario Guidance for Personal Services Settings, Public Health Ontario's Guide to Infection and Prevention Control in Personal Service Settings, and guidance from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).  We have also implemented additional measures to ensure we can deliver the highest standard of service and safety to our clients, staff and community.


As we continue to navigate through this unprecedented time, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our clients, staff, and community. We appreciate your patience, support and understanding. 


Reopening Changes

  • We will offer services by appointment only.

  • We will contact clients prior to their appointments to complete a mandatory COVID-19 prescreening questionnaire. Clients will be asked the same questions again when they arrive for their appointments.

  • A COVID-19 Fee of $5 will apply to each appointment to help cover incremental service costs.

  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.  Do not come early, as we do not have a waiting lounge. Should there be more than 1 person at the front reception desk, please maintain a 2 metre gap.

  • We ask that clients attend appointments alone and only bring essential items (e.g. phone, payment method).

  • If updated forms are required, please email the completed paperwork or bring to your appointment as requested.

  • Our service providers will be wearing gloves, masks and safety glasses or face shields where appropriate.  

  • Clients will be asked to wear masks to their appointment. Mask will be available if you do not have one.

  • We ask you to use hand sanitizer when you enter the building. You will also find hand sanitizing stations throughout the spa and salon.

  • Client temperature may be taken.

  • In the initial phase, some services will be temporarily unavailable.

  • Waiting rooms and lounges are temporarily unavailable.   

  • Warm neck wraps are temporarily unavailable.

  • Magazines will not be available.  

  • Food and beverages will not be offered, and we ask clients not to bring food or beverages into the building.

  • Treatment stations have been arranged to ensure a minimum of 2 metres between clients. Please note that our capacity is reduced as we are not using all of our stations. 

  • We have installed Plexiglass at our front desks and Plexi dividers where 2 meter distancing is not possible.

  • We have reupholstered our furniture with fabric that can be cleaned after each use.

  • We have put more rigorous and frequent cleaning measures in place.

  • All team members have received supplementary health and safety training as well as training on new protocols and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).  


Registered Massage Therapy

  • Warm Stone and Thai Massage are temporarily unavailable.

  • Bed warmers and warm neck wraps will not be used, as per CMTO guidelines.

  • Both the Registered Massage Therapist and client must wear a mask at all times.

  • Initially, we will be open with reduced hours.

  • Available at Tetherwood Spa only.

Medical Esthetics

  • Initially, we will only be offering Botox services.

  • Microneedling, Peels and Facials are not available.

  • Initially, we will be open with reduced hours at Tetherwood Spa.  



The following services will be temporarily unavailable:

  • Express services (Express and Fast Track services)

  • Paraffin services

  • Package pricing 

We are not yet allowed to offer Facials, Peels, Mirconeedling, Facial Waxing and Make Up.


Hair Studio (Limeblu)

  • Shampoo services will only be available for the purpose of removing colour.

  • Haircut clients will be asked to arrive with clean, dry hair without any styling product(s) applied.

  • We will reach out to clients who have requested a call or had a cancelled or future-dated appointment.
